God Bless you all Thank you everyone for the continued prayers for my friend Jodi Bakx her son Joshua and her entire family. I love you all and I am so sorry.

Journal entry by Anthony Bakx — 3 hours ago

Today Anthony Sarah Jodi and Lou sat together for a video chat with Joshua’s Doctors and our worst nightmares unfolded. When Joshua was admitted an ICP monitor was immediately put into his brain to monitor his pressure and brain swelling. The goal was to prevent any further injury to the brain due to the swelling. What we weren’t clear on was the fact that the MRI couldn’t be performed, only CT scans to judge the damage already done in the accident. We took the decrease in swelling as a great sign and a few subconscious movements as signs when in fact they were not.

Today upon review of the MRI we were told that the initial injury was too wide spread and severe to repair or to hope for any improvement at all. It was the “most severe they had seen.” Ultimately Joshs soul passed at the time of the accident and he has no awareness at all but also

no pain. The immediate family will be saying goodbye in person this week and we are beyond heart broken. All of us joining together these past 9 days has been the only way we’ve gotten through and we all thank you for the prayers and wishes. Joshs organs will be donated in hopes that we can spare another family this pain that we are facing and his spirit will live on.

Josh was one of the kindest sweetest souls to walk this earth. His love of animals and nature (but not the beach) was inspirational. We will find ways to honor his life and will

share plans as they are made but for now we have an ask: each day please wake up and be just a bit more kind and loving then you were yesterday. Hug the ones you love and forgive the ones you don’t. That is the greatest way to honor our Joshie and keep his memory alive. We love you all and hope we can hug you soon. Xoxo Anthony Sarah Jodi Lou and all the boys.

I will like for the Church to continue to pray for me and my son. To get along better at home. The anxiety is overwhelmingly intense and we tend to take it out on each other and I want us to draw closer to one another in love and understanding. This is not easy for both of us. I'm still very sick and I ask for a quick recovery, healing, strength, strength in my soul and whatever fixing God needs to do in me while we are here in this quarantine. To please, work on my son to give him a better attitude and to be more obedient and understanding and we can be more compassionate towards each other and love one another in these hard times.

My son, Michael, had some type of mental break back in December and ended up in jail in Florida for 3 months.

When he got out and was back in NY where he had just bought a house, the following things are what he had to face:

*he lost his job of 8 years in the finance corporate world

*his girlfriend of 4 years left him

*he isn't able to pay his mortgage

*his brand new 2020 Honda pickup was repossessed and his brand new 2020 Toyota RAV, also repossessed

*those vehicle were filled with all of his high end golf clubs and all other related golf items, which is his outlet

He is hibernating in his basement eating, sleeping, and watching tv. Not picking up the phone and not answering the door. I've had to drive to Long Island twice to make sure he's alive.

Please pray for God to send His Angel Armies to help Michael realize that with God all things are possible and this is only temporary. God has plans for his life that are going to be amazing.

Thank you Church Family, I love each and everyone of you!

My testimony of being delivered of COVID-19

God is Amazing. No better name then the Name of Jesus. I came home Monday night, 3/30/20, not feeling well, started to cough and having a sore throat and headache. Tuesday morning I felt a temperature coming on and suspected symptoms for COVID-19. I was feeling increased fever, really bad headaches, bad body aches, still had a sore throat and coughing. On Wednesday, I went for testing. I had to wait 48 hours for results. My mom Wednesday night had dropped me off homemade chicken soup, a thermometer and Tylenol that my cousin Fawn gave her for me. I had reached out to several family members and friends from all walks of life letting them know what’s going on and when results would be back. Pastor Jeff told me to add my name to the prayer wall. Thursday Night I joined Zoom for my small group session Twelve Women of the Bible. The ladies prayed for me. Friday at approximately 11:00, my phone rang and it was the APRN from my doctors office to inform me that I tested positive for COVID-19. The first thing after hanging up, I prayed and confessed to my Lord Jesus Christ that by his stripes and being pierced I am healed and then notified family and friends. I added my prayer request on the prayer wall with my results. On Friday, one of my best friends, Maryann went grocery shopping for me. With being diagnosed with COVID-19, felt so blessed between my mom, my cousin, and friends bringing me supplies. Saturday & Sunday my friend Celeni dropped off homemade chicken soup a couple times. My mom made homemade chicken soup again and dropped off. While home I would have communion with Pastor Ken on Friday nights via Facebook Live and watch the daily devotionals with different pastors. Sunday Night, I was part of a prayer night via Zoom to pray for people and our land being affected by COVID-19. I mostly listened while they prayed for me. On Monday the new week, I called my doctor because I had enough of waking myself up from the coughing. My mom picked up the prescription cough syrup with codeine so I could sleep and countless times my mom bought me tissues. I also lost my voice from coughing so hard. I slept a lot and would be up to hydrate, lots of warm water with lemon and eat and take my supplements and back to bed.

Good Friday, I felt less of temperature and the coughing was slowing down and breathing remained ok. On Saturday, my temperature and coughing remained the same. Easter Sunday, Glory to the Lord, celebration of Jesus Resurrection. I enjoyed my home church service online and a church service in Long Island online. My mom blessed me pancet with shrimp and sweet potatoes, a filapina dish for Easter dinner. My friend, Celeni blessed me with butternut squash soup. Under my doctors guidance, I had stopped the Tylenol on Monday,4/13 and by Wednesday, I was fever free and just kept claiming victory and trusting God to bring me out of this storm. Thankful for all the body of Christ and the power of prayer. Thankful for my church home with all the prayers, phone calls, texts, online connection keeping me engaged via E-groups,daily morning devotionals, afternoon updates, different evening venues online and Sunday Celebrations online. All my church home does is encouraging and a blessing! God receives all the Glory! Hallelujah!

My daily devotional scripture today:

“You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised.”

Latest update regarding Lisa:

(Forwarded from her daughter, Kelsey)

Thank you all for all your love and prayers. I am beyond blessed to see all the support my parents have behind them! I am so excited to say today, my mom was successfully taken off the ventilator! She is very weak and tired and doesn’t have a voice right now, so she can’t communicate with us yet. But she is stable and getting oxygen through her nose ️ Now I just can’t wait for ALL this to be over to be able to squeeze them so tightly!!

Please keep sending the love and prayers for her recovery - they are working!!!
