Ever just need encouragement that your imperfections and stumblings don’t equate to disqualification? There is something so refreshing to know that our God is not demanding perfection on our behalf because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. In fact, there is permission to fail, because, well, none of us are perfect. We have a God that upholds us, keeps us, and causes us to stay upright.
Messing up is just as much a part of our journey as a toddler stumbling as they learn how to walk. Just like a parent upholds a toddler learning to walk, the father holds us up, keeping us steady and sure, “Now unto him who is able to keep us from falling”.
PRAYER: Father, hold us steady with your hand, and keep us from falling. Encourage us with your loving-kindness when we stumble and help us to give ourselves grace while we walk out our sanctification. In Jesus’ name.
