Why do we celebrate Easter & Good Friday?

Good Friday is the day where we reflect on and remember Jesus’ suffering and death on the cross. This is our chance to remember the great price that he paid for our freedom. Our Good Friday service will be a reflective night of worship and prayer to prepare us for the biggest celebration of the year on Sunday!

Easter Sunday is the day where we rejoice and celebrate Jesus’ resurrection! Because of His great love and what He did for us on the cross, we get to celebrate the fact that we can now walk in new life, joy, freedom, and peace. Join us for one of our three services filled with special worship experiences, an encouraging word, and time to meet new faces and connect with your family. These services are guaranteed to leave you feeling inspired and refreshed.

Will this service be available online?

Easter Sunday will be available online at verticalct.com or our Youtube Channel @verticalchurchct at 8:30am, 10am, and 11:30am that day.

Good Friday will not be livestreamed and is an in-person experience.

Can I bring my kids and teens?

Easter Sunday:

Yes! Our Children’s Ministry, Vertical Kids, will be open for children ages 1 to those in 5th grade. Our Preschool & Sea Stars (Special Needs) classes will also be open. Please note that Sea Stars will only be open for our 10am & 11:30am services. Check-in is located by the Gathering Place.

Middle School students are invited to join Vertical Youth’s Middle School Groups in the Teen Center. Groups start at each service and check-in is right at the Teen Center doors labeled “Vertical Youth”. High Schoolers are invited to sit with their families in the Sanctuary to enjoy Easter.

Good Friday:

Vertical Kids & Preschool classes will be open on Good Friday. However, our Sea Stars room and Middle School Groups will not be available during this time.

Families and their teens are still invited to join us in the Sanctuary for service. However, if you do need to step out, there are a variety of comfortable seating areas in our lobby, also known as the Concourse, where you can watch service from.

How can I learn more about Vertical Church?

Visit verticalct.com and explore our pages to learn more about who we are, what we believe, and ways you can get involved.

Joining us in-person? Be sure to visit our Backstage Pass room in the Sanctuary (to the left of the stage) at the end of each service. The team there will give you a free gift, a brief presentation of who we are, and a tour of our building.
